On November 25, BRUTUS will open its doors for the launch of the first edition of De Lowlands Nude Calendar 2023, shot and cast by Lara Verheijden (1990) at the legendary Lowlands Festival. At the same time, this is the opening of the exhibition with images from The Lowlands Nude Calendar and exclusive photos that are not in the calendar.

The Nude Calendar Project originated from the idea to make a nude calendar of very diverse people instead of just beach babes like: young and old, female, male, X, couples and family members. The models were found on Instagram and were then photographed in a playful, slightly erotic way. After a number of successful calendars, shot in Amsterdam and Berlin, Tokyo, Los Angeles and New York are on the schedule.

For the launch of the calendar, BRUTUS is organizing an exhibition from November 25 to January 8 with the photos of the nude calendar. The exhibition shows the models in classic festival situations, naked or half undressed, in front of the Alpha or at the campsite, in their tent or at night during a concert. All kinds of iconic locations are approached in their own way. BRUTUS wants to give artists a place to expose themselves and express themselves in an authentic way, Lara Verheijden's project is a perfect example of this.

The launch of the calendar and the opening of the exhibition will be celebrated in BRUTUS on the 25th of November, from 20:00 to 00:00. The opening is with music and drinks. The actual calendar will also be sold at the event. The event is free and drinks by Brouwerij Noordt.
