During Rotterdam Art Week Operator and BRUTUS join forces for a RAW afterparty where art and music embrace each other. Especially for this evening, BRUTUS' sculpture garden will be transformed into a nightclub. In this open-air club you can enjoy the space jazz sounds of the Ronald Langestraat Band, have a good conversation over a fire barrel, dance between enormous art objects by Atelier Van Lieshout or share a case of beer with the people you just met at the Krattenbar. If it rains, don't worry, the whole party will move to one of Brutus' halls.

Ronald Langestraat Trio
In the early 1980s, Ronald Langestraat was one of the mainstays of the Amsterdam jazz scene; he played in jazz bands like Cascada and Ritmo Natural. At that time, he also started his search for his own sound for his solo work – a spacy mix of jazz, soul and groovy salsa. Ronald went on a space mission, resulting in a psychedelic, otherworldly, pristine and personal sound. Fast forward to 2021: with the creative minds of Lyckle de Jong (De Witte Kunst) and Nic Mauskovic (Mauskovic Dance Band) in his band, Ronald brings his own and unique music.

The only bar in the Netherlands where you buy beer by the crate and wine by the bottle. If you don't necessarily want to drink a case, then it's time to start a conversation and meet each other. Be creative: set up your own business, send tikkies, make new friends or bring something to trade for beer. Everything is allowed and possible. Basically, every crate or bottle becomes a bar.
