During Museumnacht BRUTUS will be opening their doors of the raw harbor complex in the M4H area.
For the duration of the evening you could visit the following exhibitions: Tolerance Test and The Voyage.
And after the overwhelming success of last edition it is coming back: the BRUTUS Flashlight Tour! A tour will start at 20:30 and 21:30, taking you through the cavernous corridors of the old harbor complex. You can sign up for the tour in advance here, or sign up at the entrance of the exhibitions. On this tour you will pass through spaces like Barbarella (the basement), Barbaar (the former beer transloading dock) and through the passages of the Ruins. You will also be able to have a look in the storage space of Atelier Van Lieshout. Beware: this tour is not suited for people with mobility problems and for the frail-hearted. The BRUTUS buildings are cold, raw, old, rusted and full of leakages. You can sign up for the tour at the entrance of the exhibitions, to the left in the back of the sculpture garden.

During the Museum Night, the modular synthesizer platform SAW MODULAR will be a guest at BRUTUS. Designing a modular synthesizer is an art in itself, making its sound as unique as its creator. That is also the magic of this world. SAW MODULAR likes to involve both the artist and the music lover in their activities. Expect an experimental musical experience this evening in which the artists take you into a completely different world with their modular synthesizers, censors, samples and field recording. From 20:00 to 01:00 there is a continuous performance by OSOSONIC (also the initiator of SAW MODULAR), Paul Tas (the creative brain behind Error Instruments) and OCTODIODE (modularist, live artist, composer, Sound Designer from France ). Take the opportunity to enjoy BRUTUS Garden By Night while you are already there. The sculpture garden is usually free to visit every day between 11:00 and 17:00. For the occasion of Museumnacht the sculpture garden has been lit and opened for the evening. You are welcome to marvel at the immense sculptures by Atelier Van Lieshout.
